Backdrop & mission statement

The world in which industrial companies are now operating is quite different from what it was during the last century : the demand for appropriate skills is greater than ever, the market is increasingly global and new technological fields are constantly emerging.

In particular, technology and economics do not form separate areas anymore : they merge into a sole discipline for which a neologism has been created – technomics ; this is why “Value-based Technomics” is aimed as much to both engineers and marketing and sales people.

Engineers were at the basis of the first industrial revolution ; they founded and managed large industrial companies. Today’s narrow specialist engineers are not the inheritors of their predecessors : they are the servants of those who know the market and control the finances. The new engineer will have to be the innovation manager and the entrepreneur who provides leadership to his company.

Marketing and sales people cannot anymore content themselves with their knowledge of the market and their selling skills : they must make up and sell their offer on the basis of “customer value”, which implies a quite different approach, more extensive knowledge and deeper contacts with the engineers who design the product.

Our mission consists therefore in bringing the appropriate know-how to both engineers and marketing and sales people, so that they could carry out those more ambitious objectives and, together, lead their company to excellence.
